Chelmsford – Robinia Tree – Felling

We were called too fell this Robinia Tree which was infected with a fungus called ‘Chicken of the Woods’. This fungus causes the tree to rot from the inside out, making it tricky to identify. We used traffic control to ensure safety for road users and ensure the safety of those on the busy public footpath.

Great Dunmow, Oak Tree – Crown Reduction

This Oak Tree had a preservation order. We were given permission to cut 1.5m off the crown to reshape it and add more light into the garden.

East London, London Plane Trees – Pollarding

Re-pollarding of London Plane Trees for a commercial customer at a Thames Water site in East London. We were able to carry out this job quicker, easier and safer with the use of a cherry picker. Our staff are fully qualified to carry out all tasks and have the correct training to use all different types of access machinery.

Embankment, Lime Trees – Pollarding

Walker Tree Care re-pollarded a row of Lime trees along the River Thames. Pollarding is a pruning system involving the removal of the upper branches of a tree, which promotes the growth of a dense head of foliage and branches.
